0845 Numbers
0845 is a UK local rate telephone number often used for customer service or general enquiry lines. This number is charged to the caller at the same rate as a local rate UK telephone call.

03 Numbers
These numbers are often used by the public sector and not-for-profit bodies as an alternative to 08 numbers.

0870 Numbers
0870 are UK non-geographic virtual telephone numbers for use with a IP phone or PBX.

0871 Numbers
These numbers are now classed as Premium rate numbers and are charged to the caller at 10p per minute plus network extras.

A UK non-geographic number is a telephone number which is not associated to any geographic location within the UK.
